Where can we rent an old school / yellow taxi for vintage wedding in the NY / NJ area?

We were married in the spring and ends in September to love our means of transportation, a taxi from the old school! We have not had the best luck in finding a source, please help!

I found this: It http://www.checkertaxistand.com seems to be a place for owners of old Checker cabs of all ages. There is a relationship of rents, but there was only three, and do not seem to lead to anything else. The site still seems worth checking out as it can get you in the right direction. I had put into the bulletin board – there is a section for non-members. There is also a place to contact them – they are in VA. You could just ask if they know of someone who rent that they own or know where are the Rent. Clearly there because the movies still use them as if they still exist in New York. This is the best I could find. One would think this would be easier to find, especially in the city of New York / New Jersey area, is not it? Good luck. I look forward to finding one. After two days of jet-lag, I decided it was now ready to do some sightseeing in Bangkok.
