Bridgestone established after the mine. What concept did you have in mind?
Simple is better. A car well balanced stops, turns and can go fast. Another thing I like doing things that my competitors do not and can not do. I like doing things quickly. Me like building [my products and cars] quickly and arrive on time. I hate to be slower than anyone else. Tuning has no regulations, such as a driver, but my thing is to be faster than the cars that are fully covered as motor cars. The parts that are for my clients, but they also have to operate and be good for the car. I keep my hand as realistically achievable tuning parts for consumers. It's easy to build a larger displacement engine, but How many people do that? Which leads to the simplicity of maintenance.

I learned a lot in my younger years. I was involved with motorsport and worked with them when I was younger. I wanted to learn, the experience was a learning process. The teams are there to win. I wanted to absorb what are available to me from motorsports. And I put what I learned from this experience in my setup and products. From R32 to R34 start prety much went to all races in Super Taikyu series.

You must have become very familiar with the series, but also career development and products. How is R & D to develop products?
To develop my part I really get to races and test my products. I do a lot tenstive in the private test track. Testing, research and development that does not necessarily have to go at full speed in a race distance. That is not what is needed for R & D. What I was trying not to end or the rapidity or speed time. Actually driving or pleasure driving. It has to do with feeling comfortable while driving, so the driver feels. You have to feel Well, feeling secure on the vehicle. This is much deeper than just the speed or power.

Count us about the GT-R legacy and why you elected to continue the development of Skyline.
Long ago it was known as a very good car and one to the melody. And that is what attracted me. I was attracted by the potential of the GT-R and because it was difficult to adjust. For the U.S., I'm really looking forward to the release of the Z and the new 2008 Nissan GT-R. I want to open a store in LA and my U.S. headquarters. At some point next year.

What are your thoughts on the new VQ38 versus older RB26?
Are completely different engines, of course, but they are the twin engines of GT-R. They are great engines. Even if the new engine is not a RB, I can adjust it. I'm not worried. As characterisics car, I do not think is the kind of car you just want maximum horsepower. The feature of the new GT-R will not be to increase engine power, but to increase the total factor of the car a little higher. With the VQ is an advancement in technology that uses an aluminum block, V-compact engine. I am not concerned that the engine because it has been developed by one of the best engineers from Nissan. I am sure that is a good engine to start.

What about the old GT-R against the new?
In Japan many people say that the R33 is not accurate successor to the first generation GT-R is not an improvement, not the R34 to R33. Neither is the R34 to R35. Have all their features. Some good and bad. Some people like the R32 better etc. So all four of them have different characteristrics.

What is your philosophy in the design and how this factor in the appearance of the new GT-R?
I think the whole design concept deisgn or character similar to R32 and R33. The R34 is looking for a sports car. And is your first impression. Whereas the R32 and R33 and the new GT-R is more or less design that grows on you. The GT-R and Ferrari are two different cars. The GT-R enthusiasts not accept the GT-R to be like the Ferrari and designers are not trying to imitate Ferrari-against what some people may think. The debut of the R32 is very similar to the current vehicle. But even now the R32 is the most popular of all time Skyline.

Who do you buy the new GT-R and which has no rivals in Japan and Europe?
I do not think, at this moment, there are rivals to the GT-R in Japan. If not limited to Japanese cars had to be Porsche and BMW. I think the buyer could increase a little in terms age, higher than before.
