One of the many sports which involve mountain biking is commonly known as jumping dirt. This sport is based on the idea of using shaped mounds of earth to push to you in the air. After takeoff, the challenge is to regain control of his vehicle of choice to ensure a safe landing at a particular place. The sport can be playing different games. The most common are 20 inch wheels BMX, cruiser, mountain bikes and freestyle motocross. Of these, the mountain biking is, undoubtedly, pro-choice.

Dirt jumping is not considered a competitive sport, but rather one for the simple enjoyment of it. Used bicycles are manufactured by small and less known, which adds a little to the exclusivity of the sport. Dirt jumpers consider their sport to be part of the ground, which is probably the reason that there are not many competitions. In recent years, companies have begun to run competitions with cash prizes for dirt jumping, but has not yet reached that stage where almost everyone has heard of him.

Some seem to think that dirt jumping as a sport, it is identical racing to mountain biking. This statement is false. While the two sports have some aspects in common, dirt jumping focuses more on the height and duration of the break ending the race faster. Moreover, the number and quality of tricks performed is also a factor. It is a sport much more dangerous career and has many years and much practice before they stop appearing bruises.

However, all mountain bikes are not necessarily suitable for dirt jumping. The frames are usually smaller than those used for other purposes, and usually only have a rear brake. The tire size is 24 or 26 inches and the forks are rigid or short travel. The wheel size is especially important because it determines the form off. Therefore, before starting to learn sport, you must make sure your mountain bike is worthy. Accidents have been known to happen because the participant does not have the proper equipment. Looking after your bike mountain is very important not only so you can avoid breaking a leg or worse, but you also comes to mind when it jumps dangerous.
